Other areas of Marion's Acres will be platted according to market
interest. Indications are that there is interest in 1 acre + lots deep,
among the trees.
There has been so much interest shown in Marion’s Acres, particularly the
beautiful wooded areas that we are platting and will be selling five
phases of Marion's Acres in the spring of 2006. Services are already into
all of the lots.
In Phase One we are offering
offer lots 3 & 4. These lots range are 2.06
acres and 1.54 acres respectively.
In Phase Four we are platting lots 14 - 18.
These lots are all 1/4 acre lots. Should it be required, lots between
Mull and Iona Streets, (see Phase 2 below) can be sold in pairs or more
so as to provide larger acreages .
Phase 7 has lots presently illustrated as 1/2 acre
in size.
This phase is sold out.
The most easterly street of the development (Iona) allows access
to the woodland areas and enable work to start on thinning the woodlands
and making services available to all of Marion’s Acres.
Completion of services and streets on Marion's
Acres. On February 24th
2003 Land and Marine Developments, Inc. signed an agreement with
the City of Fort Pierre where we, as the developer, covenant to install;
services to each lot line; asphalt streets etc. throughout all of
Marion’s Acres, as dictated by sales and building permit issuance or by
the end of 2005, whichever is sooner.
We have developed some
planting guidelines that
we hope will be of interest to lot owners.

The City have
agreed that, in keeping with the unique rural setting in Marion's Acres,
the streets shall be asphalted rural sections with no curb and gutter
and no sidewalks required.
