How much will my home cost? This is very hard question to answer. Because we are building one of a kind, custom home the answer will vary depending on the size of home, the style of the home and features that each customer chooses. The best way to pin point a price is to have a general idea of the type of home you would like and consult with the people at Land & Marine.

What is a system built home? We use the term system built because we build with a systematic process. Kan Build utilizes jigs, templates and processes to raise the level of   efficiency. This systematic approach is not only more efficient it ensures a higher level of quality. There are other names used in the market place, another common term used is "modular". Modular homes refer to any home built in sections or "modules". This is a broad description and contains vast differences in specifications, quality, and customization.

What does "Custom" mean? Simply put, customization at Kan Build is defined by the customer not the company. There are many builders out in the marketplace that claim to be custom. At Kan Build customization is defined by your imagination.

Why should I buy a Kan Build? You should only buy a Kan Build after you are comfortable that you are getting the best home at the best price. We encourage you to  comparison shop. You should look at site builders and other manufacturers. The important things to remember are:

1) make sure the specifications are apples to apples

2) can the competitor custom design your home?

3) quality, look past what is on the surface. The best way to evaluate quality is to take a

How do I finance my Kan Build home? Mortgage lending institutions treat Kan Build the same or better than traditional site built homes and offer the same mortgage options. How do I buy a Kan Build home? Kan Build sells through a group of qualified independent builders, one of which is Land & Marine Developments, Inc. The builders need to be involved because of the ordering process and completion of the site work. They will help you arrange for excavation, foundations, utilities, garages, porches, etc.
